A four-part study system
The loop is simple enough to repeat and flexible enough for one lecture, a full module, or exam preparation.
Start with learning objectives, your own notes, key terms, deadlines, and approved readings—not a pile of unexplored links.
Ask for a concept at increasing levels of detail, then compare the explanation with your lecture and required sources.
Generate questions without showing the answer first. Commit to a response, then inspect the rationale and the source.
Record what you missed, why you missed it, and when you will try it again. Let the evidence shape the next session.
Example workflows
Begin with material you are permitted to use, make the request specific, and finish with an action that proves you—not the tool—understand it.

Use AI to suggest search terms, group themes, or structure a reading table. Record the author, title, journal, year, DOI or URL, and your own notes beside every claim.
Your check: open the original paper, confirm that it exists, and verify the claim in context before citing it. Never cite an AI-generated reference you have not checked.
Responsible academic use
Follow your school, course, assessment, and placement rules. Use AI to support preparation and practice only where it is allowed; disclose its use when required.
Never paste identifiable patient, placement, staff, or assessment information into a general-purpose AI tool. Do not use it to make, confirm, or justify a direct patient-care decision.

Compare it with the original lecture, assigned text, approved guideline, or primary source. Look for missing context, invented references, overconfident language, and differences in scope. If the source and output disagree, the approved source and your educator’s guidance take priority.
Use only tools permitted by your institution, and understand what happens to anything you enter. The study method matters more than a specific product: define the goal, limit the material, request one support role, and verify the result.
Treat every output as an unchecked draft. Mark the error, return to a trusted source, correct your notes, and turn the mistake into a new retrieval question. Confidence of tone is never evidence of accuracy.
